Swin Cash Delivers Keynote Speech at the NAACP Human Rights Dinner

Swin served as the keynote speaker at the NAACP Pittsburgh chapter’s 59th Annual Human Rights Dinner held May 2, 2013. The theme for the event was “Reenergize, Refocus, Restructure: Save Our Youth” which aligns directly with Swin’s mission of providing educational and athletic opportunities to kids across the nation. Her speech discussed the social awareness and social conscience the community needs to have in order to engage youth and set the stage for success in the future. Swin also shared her personal journey as an athlete and charitable contributions including Cash For Kids, a charity that uses sports and cultural activities to “motivate, educate and elevate” kids. She encouraged attendees to come together and support the NAACP and its initiatives to make an impact for social change.
