We kicked off the 3rd season of Cash for Kids Youth Basketball league on Sunday March 18th and oh what an opening day it was. We had competitive games from start to finish. It warmed my heart to see all the joy in each and every kids’ eyes, but the amount of parents in the stands to support them made me smile even more. Our youth need the support not only from me and our volunteers but their families as well. So to see that support – end line to end line – for my CFK babies was amazing! I’ve watched these kids grow every year, their ability to communicate increase and their love & respect for one another and the game. We had game winning shots, tough competition and great coaching on the sideline. Scroll down for results and video clips from an amazing opening day.
